Without a doubt, one of the most important festivals is the FERIA DE NTRA. SRA. DE CONSOLACIÓN (OUR LADY OF CONSOLATION FAIR) which is held around September 8th in honour of the patron saint and has been declared a Festival of tourist interest in Andalusia.

The ROMERÍA DE LA VIRGEN DE FÁTIMA (OUR LADY OF FATIMA PILGRIMAGE), to which the people of Utrera are strongly devoted; the VERBENA DE MARÍA AUXILIADORA (MARY HELP OF CHRISTIANS FESTIVITY); the CERTAMEN DE CRUCES DE MAYO (MAY CROSS COMPETITION) and the CORPUS CHRISTI all take place in May.

In addition, in June Utrera celebrates the FIESTA DE SAN JUAN (FEAST OF ST JOHN THE BAPTIST) in style, popularly known as ‘Los Juanes’. Events of a different nature also stand out, including the FIESTA DE LA TAPA COFRADE (BROTHERHOOD TAPAS FESTIVAL) during Lent or CHRISTMAS ACTIVITIES.

At the same time, FLAMENCO is an important aspect of local traditions and boasts important events. Particularly noteworthy is the POTAJE GITANO, the oldest Flamenco festival in Spain which began in 1957 and is celebrated every year in June. The MOSTACHÓN FLAMENCO FESTIVAL is also worth highlighting in November, organised by Peña Curro of Utrera, and the TACÓN FLAMENCO festival in February.
