Osuna’s artisan traditions have a rich history and are the results of the work of local master craftsmen. METALWORKING and SADDLE MAKING represent an excellent sample of local traditions. The local CERAMICS style is based on 18th century Seville “azulejos” tiles, which are used to adorn the patios and cloisters of convents and monasteries. Beautiful pots, plates, canteens, oil jugs and bottles are also made locally. Osuna also has an artisan leather workshop specialising in CORDOBÁN and GUADAMECÍ techniques.

Arte2 is an artisan leather workshop that applies a technique originating from the Al-Andalus period: CORDOBÁN and GUADAMECÍ. They handcraft quality leather using sheepskin, maintaining techniques inherited from the Arabs that influenced Andalusia, producing embossed, gilded and painted pieces. We complete all the steps of the process, from design the motifs to adding the finishing touches to the piece, using tanned leather as our raw material. Our workshop currently creates pieces designed for the high decoration sector and customers seeking an exclusive, high-quality product. Visits should be arranged in advance.

Cerámica Emilio Espuny is an artisan ceramics company where everything is made by hand. Emilio Espuny, senior technician in artistic ceramics with a degree from Seville’s School of Art and senior technical administrator, he is a renowned ceramicist with almost 30 years of experience. He has been associated with the ceramics sector since 1989, working as a ceramics craftsman. Throughout his long career, he has worked for companies from the sector. However, he has finally taken the leap to start to work for himself on his own creations. A whole lifetime devoted to the world of ceramics endorses his work. However, if there is one thing that makes him stand out from the crowd, it’s the passion with which he paints each piece, treating each and every one of them extremely carefully and delicately. Each piece of work is important, which is why he aims to ensure they are technically perfect and always enjoys the production process.
