Osuna’s artisan traditions have a rich history and are the results of the work of local master craftsmen. METALWORKING and SADDLE MAKING represent an excellent sample of local traditions. The local CERAMICS style is based on 18th century Seville “azulejos” tiles, which are used to adorn the patios and cloisters of convents and monasteries. Beautiful pots, plates, canteens, oil jugs and bottles are also made locally. Osuna also has an artisan leather workshop specialising in CORDOBÁN and GUADAMECÍ techniques.
