Its history dates back to the mid-50s thanks to the good work of 24 farmers who joined together to obtain one of the best olive oils in the region, Molino de la Merced.

Molino de la Merced Extra Virgin Olive Oil takes its name from when the CAPI cooperative settled on the old site of the oil mill of the Mercedarian Convent, founded more than 500 years ago in Écija, the cradle of olive oil since Roman times, when the city was called Astigi.

They offer group tours of the cooperative.
