Local Look Tours offers tours exploring the artistic and cultural heritage of Écija with a local guide who will make you feel like you're part of the city. Their idea arose after welcoming many friends from other countries to their city and making them feel right at home. They have also been certified as official guides since 2012.

Experiential visits:

  • Local Heritage Tour: "Écija in Detail" (2 hours). This tour is designed to explore the extensive heritage of the city of Écija, wandering its streets and squares, admiring its palaces and churches from different eras and artistic styles, and learning about its legends. You will discover and immerse yourself in the culture of this beautiful Andalusian town. Includes entrance to the historical museum, stables, and the Church of Santa María. Minimum 2 people.
  • Local Flamenco Tour: "Feel the Rhythm of Andalusia" (3 hours). A walk through Écija visiting its heritage sites, primarily focused on Flamenco, a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity since 2012. Includes visits to shops specializing in flamenco fashion and an introductory flamenco class. Maximum 15 people (please inquire for larger groups).
  • Local Gastronomic Tour: “Delight Your Palate” (3 hours). We will visit the historic center of Écija and explore its gastronomy, entering the market, visiting a convent where they still make traditional pastries, and finishing with a tasting of 3 typical local tapas. Minimum 2 people. Maximum 15 people (please inquire for larger groups).
  • Horseback Riding Route: “The Culture of the Horse” (1 hour). This route is designed to be combined with one of our offered nighttime tours, available in the morning or afternoon. Horses have been part of our culture since Roman times, shaping our understanding of the world around us, and they continue to do so today. Therefore, we offer the opportunity to experience equestrian culture through a horseback riding tour. Minimum 2 people. Private equestrian shows can also be arranged.
  • "Écija: Women, Myth, and History" Route. This new route was created to offer a comprehensive overview of the role of women throughout our cultural past. Leveraging the potential of our city's heritage, it introduces a gender perspective. The route includes a visit to the Historical Museum, the Plaza de España (Hall), the façade of the Peñaflor Palace, and offers the opportunity to sample a local beverage at the Platería Restaurant. The tour lasts approximately 1.30 minutes. Minimum 2 people.
