For the third consecutive year, the Prehistoric Rock Art Trails, the Silver Route, the Way of El Cid, the Routes of Charles V, and the Paths of Passion will jointly attend this event, considered one of the most important in the tourism sector worldwide.
November 05th.- London hosts the World Travel Market from November 5th to 7th, one of the world's most important tourism fairs. This marks the third consecutive year the event has taken place. Prehistoric Rock Art Trails, Silver Route Route, Camino del Cid, Routes of Charles V y paths of passion They will be present at the event with the aim of showcasing their potential and tourist attractions to both professionals and the general public.
The five itineraries will travel to the British capital under the common banner of “Cultural Routes of Spain,” an initiative supported by Turespaña that brings together the offerings of these five major routes. Their thematic focus encompasses a significant portion of Spanish history: Prehistoric Rock Art, the heart of Roman Hispania along the Silver Route (Vía de la Plata), the literary and historical legacy of El Cid Campeador in the Middle Ages, the routes of Emperor Charles V during the Renaissance, and the spiritual expressions and popular traditions of Holy Week in southern Spain. Each route will have its own dedicated counter within the Turespaña stand to promote and showcase the artistic, heritage, and cultural richness of these five routes.
According to official figures, this year's edition features participants from 190 countries. In 2017, the fair attracted nearly 90.000 visitors, mostly tourism professionals from around the world.
