Five days of tourism promotion in Argentina and Chile, organized by Turismo de Andalucía and supported by the visit of the Vice President of the Junta de Andalucía and Minister of Tourism, Juan Marín
Caminos de Pasión participated for the first time in the "Andalucía Origen y Destino" Professional Conference, commemorating the 500th anniversary of the Vuelta a Mundo (Circumnavigation of the World), which is being held in Argentina and Chile from Friday, October 4th, to today, October 8th. Among the activities in which Caminos de Pasión took part were a meeting with a selection of tour operators specializing in travelers interested in luxury, shopping, or gastronomy on the 4th; promotional activities for the general public at the FIT Buenos Aires trade fair from October 5th to 7th; and, on October 7th, a working session with local tourism intermediaries, authorities, and media. Finally, today, the route will participate in a working session with authorities, media, and local tourism intermediaries in Santiago, Chile.
FIT Buenos Aires is considered the largest tourism fair in Latin America and one of the most important worldwide, bringing together all the key players in the global tourism industry. It's an ideal opportunity to connect with media outlets and travel agents interested in promoting our destination. In 2018, it attracted 99.207 visitors and featured 1.674 exhibitors from 52 countries.
With its presence at this fair, and its participation in the different working sessions, Caminos de Pasión aims to promote the marketing of the product through Latin American tour operators, showing them the historical and heritage richness of the route, along with its gastronomic, natural, artisanal and traditional offerings, through experiences and adventures of the Andalusian interior.
Furthermore, the presence of Caminos de Pasión within the different Andalusian destinations has been supported by the visit of the Vice President of the Junta de Andalucía and Minister of Tourism, Regeneration, Justice and Local Administration, Juan Marín, who shared a few minutes with the representatives of the route and was concerned to learn about the new horizons that the route has set in recent months.
Presence of the route
