The Barrio de las Cruces (Neighborhood of the Crosses) is located on the slope of Cerro de las Cruces (Hill of the Crosses), opposite Cerro de la Mota (Hill of the Mota). It takes its name from the Stations of the Cross that ascended from the Pelota Court to the Hermitage of Fatima, an incomparable viewpoint from which to admire Alcalá and its fortress.
