The GR7 Long Distance Trail, E-4 European Path. Alcalá la Real section

This is the longest walking trail in Europe. The section that passes through Alcalá la Real takes you near to ancient stone crosses, watchtowers and hamlets. It runs along ancient stone walls that once protected the fields of crops from the passing of cattle as they travelled through the intersection of glens and tracks.

There are two stages.  Frailes – Alcalá la Real (9.2km) and Alcalá la Real – Pilas de Fuente Soto (13km)
