Pico de La Tiñosa y sendero

The Pico de la Tiñosa is one of the most attractive points in the Sierras Subbéticas natural park.This park became part of the European Geoparks Network in 2006, thus guaranteeing its geological heritage and boosting local development through geological tourism.

Skirting around the La Tiñosa, we find the Cueva del Morrión, a cave formed in the summit’s dolostones, where we can enjoy unbeatable views.Visitors are recommended to take a photo against the light of the sun, with the Iznájar reservoir in the background.

La Tiñosa’s summit is 1570 metres above sea leveland is surrounded by olive groves, holm oak trees, valleys, streams and traditional farm houses.

There are many routes in the surrounding areas for hiking, mountain biking and horse riding.
