Santaella Palace has a stone-carved portal, which displays unique ornamental caryatids, adding character. The building is dated to the first third of the eighteenth century. The staircase is covered with a monumental dome resting on a tholobate with polychromed yesería plasterwork, which is decorated with floral adornment and landscapes, dating to the second half of the eighteenth century, which is very similar to the Peñaflor Palace façade and likely to be from the same studio. The palace’s woodwork is extremely impressive, with magnificent carved doors.
