Ípora-Los Naranjos Trail

Reptiles and birds of prey in great danger of becoming extinct find shelter in the natural area bounded by the river Blanco and the Salinoso stream, which has very characteristic shapes, a result of the erosion processes which give way to the spectacular “riparian forests”. Foxes, sparrow hawks, nightingales and moorhens have chosen this as their habitat.

El Salinoso Trail

Reptiles and birds of prey in great danger of becoming extinct find shelter in the natural area bounded by the river Blanco and the Salinoso stream, which has very characteristic shapes, a result of the erosion processes which give way to spectacular “riparian forests”. Within the river course, the area known as the “planada del rio” stands out, where you can contemplate a bend currently in the process of being formed. Foxes, sparrow hawks, nightingales and moorhens have chosen this as their habitat.
Therefore, walking among them is a real pleasure for the senses, contemplating the magnitude of the landscape in all of its splendour, seeing the flora and fauna close up. We may come across some locals and have the chance to spend time talking to them about the land and its diversity. Equally, these trails are a good tourism option for those who love hiking and nature since they enable every way of being in direct contact with the area, with its people and with the natural features that make it unique compared to other places.
